Overview: I worked on this uke years and years ago and... it came back-in for resale just needing the tuners tightened. How about that?
These old Gretsch ukes (this one has a Sherwood brand) look a little like Martin 0 ukes, though they sound more like Favillas. They're built entirely too-thin which is why a lot of them get hairline cracks (this one has its share of repaired ones) but it's also why they sound so nice and warm.
This one is solid mahogany throughout the body and neck, has a rosewood fretboard, and tortoise trim with a white interior line.
Repairs included: Previously, it got a level/dress of the frets, a bridge reglue, some crack repairs, seam repairs, cleaning, and setup work done. It's playing spot-on and ready to go.

Condition notes: The nut is newer and I may have swapped the tuners with same-period ones from my parts-bins, but it's otherwise original throughout. The bridge needed to move beyond its original location to make sure the saddle matched the scale length (the factory almost never put them in the right place). There are a variety of repaired hairline cracks here and there in the top and back. It has plenty of light-to-medium scratches and scuffs throughout as well as weather-check to the finish all over. It's a player's instrument, for sure.
It comes with: Sorry, no case.
