The Beetronics Nectar Tone Sweetener is a compact dual-purpose overdrive/fuzz that delivers the distinctive character Beetronics is known for without the complexity of some of their larger pedals. A toggle switches between two gain structures: a smooth, harmonically rich overdrive and a thicker, saturated fuzz. Both retain good note definition, giving the Nectar a tighter, more modern feel than loose, splattery vintage-style fuzz circuits.
Controls are deliberately simple: Honey controls gain, Taste shapes the tone, and Volume sets output level. The gain range runs from mild breakup through aggressive fuzz, making it useful as anything from an always-on tone enhancer to a primary high-gain sound. It also stacks well with other overdrives, distortions and fuzzes. The Nectar is true bypass and runs from a standard 9V center-negative supply. Beetronics also produces individually finished Custom Shop versions alongside the standard Babee Series model.
