Beautiful condition Slingerland No. 130 Sound King model snare drum. Serial # 82690 puts the build date in the mid 60's All of the chrome looks good except for some mild pitting, a small dent in one of the panels and some push in under the butt plate and the throw off. 1 tiny dent in the batter hoop and 1 small dent in the snare side. Hoops are round and seat perfectly.
The Zoomatic throw-off is in excellent shape. We replaced the tension spring so that the player can access the full range of tension. It operates beautifully.
All parts are original with the exception of the heads, the wires, and about 1/2 of the tension rods. Black and Gold Niles badge is in excellent shape with the original grommet though it is a little loose and does move when touched. While not a museum piece, this drum could be beautifully restored with moderate effort.
