Upgraded Fender Excelsior with improved tone stack and added push-pull potentiometer for much great range and control. Improved cathode bypass cap value which tightens up the bass response and brings the output character more in line with a 5E3 Deluxe. And a depth pot for the tremolo which adds much greater range, dimension and usability. This amp now sounds and performs more boutique than pawn shop. It will also will run 5881's and 6L6's in the output with plenty of current from the power transformer. This transforms the amp into a bigger, higher headroom and punchier sounding tweed Pro style amp. Surprising amount of versatility from it now. And if you want even bigger chime, you can swap the V1 12AX7 for a 12AY7 or 5751 to increase the headroom even more.
