Fender JM-66 Jazzmaster Reissue CIJ
Fender Jazzmaster CIJ (Crafted in Japan) – Sunburst – P Serial – Very Good Condition
Up for sale is a Fender Jazzmaster, Crafted in Japan (CIJ), identified by its "P" serial number. Finished in classic sunburst, this is one of the well-regarded Japanese-made Jazzmasters from Fender's CIJ era, known for excellent build quality and consistency. Overall condition is very good — light signs of play wear consistent with age, nothing structural or functionally compromising.
Details:
- Model: Fender Jazzmaster
- Origin: Crafted in Japan (CIJ)
- Serial: P-series
- Finish: Sunburst
- Condition: Very good, minor cosmetic wear only
- Tailpiece: Modded to reduce string buzz behind the bridge — a common and worthwhile upgrade on Jazzmasters, tightens up the string tension and cuts out that characteristic "back buzz" without affecting the trem feel
- Includes a hard case (non-original), please note it is missing one latch — still functions for storage and transport, just doesn't have all latches intact
The classic offset body, warm/twangy pickup tone, and smooth-playing neck typical of the CIJ run — now with the back-buzz mod already sorted, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
