The Höfner Violin Bass is characterized by a warm, rounded, and soft sound unlike any other bass. Its short-scale design makes it easy to play, even for those with smaller hands. Thanks to its hollow-body construction, it weighs approximately 2.3kg, making it exceptionally lightweight and easy to handle.

Based on details such as the potentiometer serial numbers, wiring capacitors inside the control panel, and pickup models, this instrument appears to be a 1972 model.

While there are signs of general use, there are no critical cracks in the body.

There is noticeable finish checking across the top of the body.

・Turning both BASS and TREBLE ON results in no sound output.

・Turning both BASS and TREBLE OFF outputs sound from both pickups.

・Turning only BASS ON emphasizes the neck pickup.

・Turning only TREBLE ON emphasizes the neck pickup.

・Setting to SOLO provides standard full-power volume.

・Setting to RHYTHM slightly reduces volume and high-frequency output.
