In pristine mint condition with absolutely no scratches, dings or dents to be found. This guitar has only seen minimal home use. Unfortunately Reverb no longer gives private sellers a 'mint condition' option (commercial businesses only) but it's very close to 'as new' condition with just a few barely detectable swirl marks on the pickguard. At £700 less than new price this is priced to sell quicklyThis is a rare sunburst model with cream pickguard, currently the only second hand one for sale in the UK. I think the matching cream pickguard, binding, fretboard inlays and Taylor logo against the sunburst finish add up to make it a striking looking guitar. It has an all-solid wood construction with mahogany neck, back and sides and a wonderfully chatoyant torrified (roasted) Sitka Spruce top. It is fitted with an LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system with sound-hole mounted controls which are far more discreet than the standard Taylor ES2 externally mounted 'three-knob' system.I recently purchased this guitar but coming from an electric guitar background it's regrettably too chunky for me and it's just not going to get enough play, so time to move it on. The guitar features Taylor's new Action Control Neck which makes it a breeze to adjust the string action without having to think about modifying the bridge saddle.
