TubeBox is a single channel 500 series slot-formatted CRT microphone preamplifier that features high sound quality, professional design and an affordable price. This small but powerful device features a Class A tube preamplifier, 48 V phantom power, phase inversion, -20 dB selectable pad, and a built-in super fast optical compressor. The front panel also includes a handy additional microphone input (1/4-inch TRS connector with switchable phantom power), a feature not normally found on 500 Series format-based preamplifiers.

Easy access to the 12AX7 valve makes it replaceable with other old or modern models, allowing you to customize the sound and performance of the TubeBox to your liking. The built-in optical compressor features controls to adjust compression ratio, attack and release, and the ability to use the built-in VU meter to display master level and gain reduction. The sound quality of the integrated compressor is guaranteed by the LME49720 operational amplifier which ensures extremely low distortion and noise.
