The Stage 5 Delta V6 Godfather is a custom, hand-built blues harmonica amplifier designed by Bruce Collins in Denver, Colorado, and inspired by West Coast blues harp player Gary "The Godfather" Smith. Made in USA. Sound Character: Delivers a warm, vintage late-1940s to early-50s Chicago blues tone with smooth mid-bass breakup. Power: 15 watts (cathode-biased 6V6 power tubes), switchable down to 8 watts. Preamp: Single octal 6SL7 preamp tube. Speaker: 10-inch hand-made Alnico speaker by Weber. Inputs & Controls: Dual high-impedance inputs (Hi-Lo with 1MΩ and 68K jacks), volume and tone controls, plus a Tru-Tone Line Out for connecting directly to a PA system. The Delta V6 is a custom, vintage-style hand-built blues harmonica amplifier from Stage 5 Amps, designed for mid-level to pro players. The finished Delta V6 amp is supplied with a Weber hand-made speaker and two 6V6 power tubes. There are two models: The flagship "Godfather" amp and the Delta V6 "Club" amp. Both our Delta V6 amps include our Tru-Tone Line Out circuit so you can connect directly to a PA mixer. The Delta V6 Godfather GS amp has warmer vintage sound of the classic late 40's / early 50's amps and a lovely fat breakup in the mid-bass area, It nails the early Chicago sound. The octal 6SL7 preamp and the two cathode biased 6V6 power tubes drive about 15 watts into an alnico Weber speaker.
