The E670FE‑EL34 is ENGL’s flagship high-gain amplifier head, rooted in Edmund Engl’s personal Special Edition design and crafted with full tube circuitry. It sports five ECC83 preamp tubes and four EL34 power tubes, producing 100 W of pure, all-tube tone with five channels—Clean, Crunch, Lead I, Lead II, and Tubedriver—with nine tonal voicings via onboard voice sculpting switches  .

Channel and tone shaping include dual Presence and Master controls, Gain Boost, Hi‑Gain, Mid‑Shift, Contour, Bright, Mid‑Edge, Modern Classic, Mega‑Lo‑Punch, Depth Boost, built-in reverb, serial/pedal FX loop and a foot-switchable noise gate  .
