Red Sound MF.10 Passive - FR/FR Black

The Red Sound MF.10 Passive is a NON-powered, full-range flat-response (FRFR) speaker cab for live performance or studio use. It is ideal for use with capturing and modelling products such as Quad Cortex, Axe-Fx, Helix, and any other 3rd party modelling systems, keyboards, and more.

With a design based on studio monitors, the ported, coaxial, MF.10 is powerful, punchy, and transparent. While smaller than the Red Sound RS.12, it has a very big sound, with a tilt-back format and great projection properties.

The MF.10 Passive is designed as one half of a stereo rig. It connects to the speaker output of the companion MF.10 Active. The MF.10 Passive can also be used with a compatible 3rd-party power amp.

The MF.10 Passive features a high-performance Red Sound by SICA® exponential driver with a custom 10-inch woofer and coaxial high frequency driver. The benefits of this design become evident when compared to devices with a separate tweeter, which can cause phase issues around the crossover frequency — a particularly critical area for FRFR guitar applications. 

The elegantly designed ported cabinet is meticulously handcrafted from high quality materials including poplar plywood and an extremely durable exterior coating able to withstand the rigors of touring. It is highly portable with a convenient hand grip, and packs a lot of power into a small, grab-and-go format. It's like bringing your favorite studio monitors on stage with you!
