Used for several years in a vancouver post studio. unfortunately an engineer plugged in the wrong power supply and damaged it, so it’s non-functional. Good for anyone who needs parts.The description of damage from Mackie‘s service provide: Customer reports the strange behaviour. The LED screen is not showing any text and or track names, andthe faders only seem to work with AUX tracks when I'm connected to ProTools in HUI mode.Found that a 20VDC power adapter is being used instead of 7.5VDC, components are burnt.Found that on power up, channel 1 & 3 faders did not move, the others moved to the top and stayed. Alsofound that the screen was blank.Estimated CostBased on the problems found this far as indicated in the notes above, Taylor Electronic Services estimatesthe repair cost to be $1020. Any applicable taxes & shipping are over and above the estimated cost torepair this product.
