This listing includes:

• 1x Custom Audio Electronics RS-10 – Fully powers on.
• 1x Custom Audio Electronics RS-10 – Currently does not power on.

The non-working unit is ideal as a donor for spare parts, allowing you to keep the working unit in top condition. It contains valuable original components such as the footswitches, LEDs, MIDI connectors, expression pedal jacks, and other hardware.

Of course, if you have the technical knowledge, you may also be able to repair the second unit and end up with two functioning RS-10s.

The CAE RS-10 is an increasingly hard-to-find piece of professional MIDI switching equipment, especially in Europe. Opportunities to purchase even a single unit are uncommon—finding a pair like this is exceptionally rare.

The Custom Audio Electronics RS-10 is a multifunction MIDI foot controller with a professional no frills approach to controlling many functions of a modern guitar system. It features direct access to 10 MIDI control change switches, as well as many other functions.

The RS-10 has the capability of storing combinations of these 10 controller switches in 128 memory locations, configured as 32 banks of 4 random access presets.

In addition to this, MIDI program change commands on 5 separate MIDI channels can be set when each preset is selected.

• Direct access to each individual loop/control of any CAE audio controllers or any other midi device that responds to program and control change (cc) numbers.
  
• 32 banks of 4 random access presets in addition to the 10 individual controller switches (SW0-SW9).
• Bank up & down switches.
• 2 ports for MIDI continuous control (P1&P2).
• 3 digit display for bank/program change indication and programming functions.

  • Receive channel
• MIDI bulk dump/load capability.
• Supports multiple footswitches for remote onstage/offstage locations.
• Expandable, the optional RS-10 Expander Module adds an additional 6 direct access controller switches and 2 presets to an existing RS-10.
