I am parting ways with this incredible Gretsch Brooklyn Standard Mike Johnston signature snare drum. This is the rather rare 'Blue Glass / Blue Sparkle' Limited Edition—only 100 of these were ever produced worldwide. I bought this snare at my local drum shop.

It has been properly tuned for both studio sessions and live shows, and always safely transported. It is an extremely versatile drum with a massive dynamic range, handling everything from the most articulate ghost notes to heavy, cracking backbeats with ease. The articulation is very crisp due to the wider snare mat. I found it very fitting for multiple genres and takes dampening great also.
