It produces warm Fender-style cleans at lower volume and develops a gritty, compressed overdrive as the volume is increased.Its EL84 power section gives it more of a British-leaning midrange and breakup than traditional Fender amps using 6V6 or 6L6 tubes. The result is particularly well suited to blues and classic rock.The amp responds well to picking dynamics: play softly and it cleans up; dig in and it becomes thicker and more aggressive.
