The Tokai ULS101 BS is a single-cut guitar handcrafted in Hamamatsu, Japan, with unparalleled care and attention to detail. This LP-style guitar is built following the dictates of the Golden Era of single-cut guitars, respecting the dimensions, designs, choice of woods, and tones of the past: the body is made of two pieces of mahogany, the top is carved maple, and the neck has an asymmetrical U-profile—much appreciated and dreamed of by purists. Finish: Brown Sunburst.
Producing musical instruments since 1947, with the commitment, care, and passion of an entire family that, more than 80 years after its founding, continues to propose the same exact philosophy as the beginning, updated to meet the demands of the modern market. This is Tokai: a Japanese company, based in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, born from Tadayouki Adachi's idea to produce high-quality instruments, later developed and expanded into what it is today: one of the most respected guitar makers in the entire Land of the Rising Sun.
