For sale is a Gibson Custom Shop Historic ’57 Les Paul Custom Black Beauty Reissue in Ebony VOS finish.

The guitar is in very good condition, with normal playwear from use. It is all original and weighs 4.3 kg.

This is the proper ’57 Black Beauty Reissue, with the one-piece mahogany body, ebony fretboard, period-correct tuners, Custombucker pickups and ABR-1 bridge mounted directly into the body. It should not be confused with the more common modern Les Paul Custom models. This is the Historic Reissue version, built much closer to the original 1957 specification.

The ebony board is smooth and fast, and the guitar has excellent playability. The truss rod is fully functional.

The Custombuckers sound open, clear and lively, with plenty of detail and dynamics. The guitar has a very balanced response and works beautifully from clean sounds through to classic overdriven tones.

The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding, with a gorgeous VOS finish and beautifully aged hardware that give it a very authentic vintage look without being overdone.

The guitar comes with its original hardshell case, COA and documents.
