Gibson J-185 Original Vintage Sunburst Electro Acoustic (2022) – Excellent PlayerFor sale is my 2022 Gibson J-185 Original Electro Acoustic in Vintage Sunburst, in superb condition and playing beautifully. The J-185 is a fantastic alternative to the more common J-45 and slightly smaller than the massive J-200 – but still with its distinctive jumbo body, maple back and sides and spruce top giving it a wonderfully balanced, articulate sound with plenty of projection. It has that unmistakable Gibson acoustic character, but with a little more clarity and definition that makes it equally at home strummed, picked or fingerstyle. The Vintage Sunburst finish looks superb and the classic J-185 appointments – including the Maltese cross bridge inlays and split fretboard markers – make this a particularly handsome Gibson.Being the electro-acoustic model, it also has the factory-fitted pickup system, making it ready for live use or recording.Details:Gibson J-185 Original2022Vintage SunburstSolid Sitka spruce topMaple back and sidesMahogany neckRosewood fingerboard and bridgeFactory electro-acoustic pickup systemMade in Bozeman, Montana, USAExcellent overall conditionIt has been played and enjoyed, so there are normal signs of use rather than it being a completely untouched case queen, but it remains a very attractive, well-cared-for example. Original Gibson case with a few scuffs and marks from gig travels.A beautiful, versatile Gibson acoustic with a big, balanced sound and considerably less common than a J-45 or Hummingbird.Happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos.
