As part of the Inspired by Gibson series, the Epiphone J-200 recreate one of the most recognized acoustic guitar designs in music history. Engineered to bring the traditional tonal profile and structural appointments of the historic Gibson original into an accessible price tier, this instrument provides expansive acoustic projection and dynamic range for both flatpickers and fingerstyle players.
The instrument features all-solid wood construction, combining a solid spruce top with solid figured maple back and sides, finished in an Aged Vintage Sunburst lacquer with a distinctive faux tortoiseshell pickguard. The body is joined to a two-piece maple neck with a mahogany center strip, carrying an Indian Laurel fingerboard with a 12" radius, 25.55" scale length, 43mm nut width, and mother-of-pearl Graduated Crown inlays.
