A quality shell pack for professional live and session drummers
Bubinga and birch shells deliver a hybrid tone with focused attack and enhanced lows
The use of top-shelf birch is one of the things that have made Tama's high-end drum kits the choice of discerning drummers for decades, but the Starclassic Performer B/B Shell Kit takes this one step further by using bubinga for the three innermost plies of each drum. This gives the whole Starclassic Performer B/B Shell Kit a lower fundamental tone with sweetened mids and the strong attack of birch. Drummers at Sweetwater know that the tonewood makes or breaks your drum sound, and we really dig this combination of birch and bubinga.
Star-Cast mounting system provides maximum resonance and unrivaled stability
Designed for Tama's professional tier drums, the Star-Cast mounting system tom holder provides your Starclassic Performer B/B Shell Kit with an added degree of mounting flexibility. Its streamlined design actually allows you to position your mounted toms closer together than typical mounting systems, and its lightweight aluminum construction provides freer drum vibration. What's more, the Starclassic Performer B/B Shell Kit Star-Cast mounting system features a sliding connector unit, which lets you position your toms by loosening just a single bolt. Talk about convenience!
Premium die-cast zinc hoops provide consistent tuning and superior tone
Did you know that the hoops on your drum affect far more than your tuning stability? That's why Tama created premium die-cast zinc hoops for their Starclassic Performer B/B Shell Kit. Manufactured via a high-density injection molding process, rather than a conventionally stamped triple-flanged hoop method, these extremely consistent hoops provide uniform bolt contact and give your Starclassic Performer B/B Shell Kit crisper attack with added high-end resonance and stronger rim shots.
- Shell Material: Hybrid of Birch and Bubinga
- Star-Cast Double Tom Holder
- Premium die-cast zinc hoops
