The BTB805MS is a five string multi-scale BTB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2022. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line.The BTB805MS features neck through body construction with a poplar burl top on ash and okoume wings attached to a graphite reinforced maple and walnut neck with a matching poplar burl overlay and a panga panga fingerboard with dark binding, 24 stainless steel fanned frets plus a zero fret, abalone dot position markers, and white side dots. Components include a pair of T1 passive Humbucking pickups channeled through an Ibanez custom preamp with a three-band EQ, a finger ramp which matches the top, individually mounted Mono-rail VS bridges with adjustable 18mm string spacing, a locking Neutrik stereo output jack, a plastic nut, and Ibanez tuning machines. The hardware is black.
