Back in the day, this was a true top-tier gig bag. Brand new, it retailed for around $300 and easily competed with the best bags from Mono and Reunion Blues. Nowadays, they’re almost impossible to find since the brand disappeared from the market, and iGiG bags themselves have become something of a rare collector’s item.
Main advantages of the G525:
- thick padding,
- excellent neck protection with adjustable support height,
- heavy-duty zippers,
- very comfortable backpack straps,
- lots of practical pockets,
- genuinely rugged construction.
My example is in very good condition. The bag has aged extremely well — the material still looks great, the structure remains firm, and all zippers work perfectly.
This is not some budget gig bag — it’s gear built to last for years. If you’re looking for serious protection for your bass and don’t enjoy carrying heavy hard cases around, I can honestly recommend it :)
