About this listing
The Fender Vintera II '60s Jazz Bass captures the look, feel and tone of an early-1960s Jazz Bass while retaining the consistency and reliability of a modern Fender.
Finished in classic Fiesta Red, it pairs an alder body with an Early-'60s “C” maple neck, slab rosewood fingerboard, 7.25" radius and 20 Vintage Tall frets.
A pair of Vintage-Style '60s Jazz Bass single-coil pickups deliver the articulate, punchy and versatile passive tones that have made the Jazz Bass a studio and stage favourite for decades.
This pre-owned example is presented in Excellent Condition, weighs 9.32 lbs and includes a gigbag.
Early-'60s Feel
The Vintera II is built around a distinctly vintage-inspired playing specification:
Early-'60s “C” maple neck

The result is a traditional Jazz Bass feel with the slimmer nut width and comfortable neck shape associated with classic Fender basses.

Controls include:
Neck Pickup Volume
Bridge Pickup Volume
Master Tone
Blend the two pickups for classic scooped Jazz Bass tones, favour the neck pickup for warmer lows, or bring in more bridge pickup for extra definition and bite.
Vintage-Style Hardware

4-saddle vintage-style bridge
Threaded steel saddles
Vintage-style reverse open-gear tuners
3-ply Mint Green pickguard
Nickel / chrome hardware

Fair Deal Music Verdict
The Fender Vintera II '60s Jazz Bass is a strong choice for players who want the feel and styling of an early Jazz Bass without moving into vintage or Custom Shop territory.
Its slab rosewood fingerboard, 7.25" radius, Early-'60s “C” neck and Vintage-Style '60s pickups give it a distinctly traditional character, while the classic Jazz Bass control layout keeps it exceptionally versatile.
Presented in Excellent Condition, weighing 9.32 lbs and supplied with a gigbag, this is a particularly appealing pre-owned example in one of Fender’s most recognisable colour combinations.
