The Heritage Audio TUBESTRIP is a 3U all-tube recording channel: tube preamp, inductor EQ, Vari-Mu compression from the LANG P.Lane circuit (including Seawell mode), and a one-knob 1B-style optical compressor with de-ess. Four tubes (NOS in the preamp and Vari-Mu, JJ on the output) and four custom transformers sit in one path from input to output, with a built-in universal power supply.
Four Processors
The preamp is voiced to morph from clean gain into heavier tube color. The EQ is inductor-based for broad, musical moves. Vari-Mu duties use the full P.Lane topology; the optical section is a fixed-mode 1B-style compressor for level control that stays out of the way. A de-ess option and a dedicated output control finish the channel.
