This Alter Ego X4 is mint — never used, no marks, no wear, no Velcro, nothing. It looks and feels like it just came out of the box, because it basically did. All knobs, switches, and footswitches are clean and tight, and every jack on the back panel is pristine. This one was bought and shelved.

The Alter Ego X4 is TC Electronic's deep dive into vintage delay history, developed in collaboration with ProGuitarShop. It packs 12 meticulously voiced delay emulations covering some of the most sought-after echo units ever made — from the Binson Echorec's signature drum-based modulation to the Maestro Echoplex's tape decay, the warm bucket-brigade repeats of the EHX Deluxe Memory Man, and the multi-head wash of a Watkins Copicat. Four additional TonePrint slots let you load custom delay types from TC's editor or artist library, bringing the total to 16 available voices. A built-in 40-second looper runs on an independent engine, so you can layer loops with delay applied. Three onboard presets are accessible via dedicated footswitches, and tap tempo keeps everything locked to the beat.
