The Austrian Audio Hi-X55 is a closed-back over-ear reference headphone built around 44 mm Hi-X drivers for critical listening, error spotting, and voice-over work. Isolation keeps the room out and the cue mix in, while the tuning favors resolution over hype so mixes and edits translate.

Hi-X Technology and Comfort

The ring magnet system and copper-clad aluminum voice coil keep membrane mass low for fast transients and low distortion. All-metal hinges and headband are made for daily professional use. Slow-retention memory foam pads and a foldable design support long sessions and travel between rooms.

Workflow

A detachable 3 m cable and screw-on 1/4" adapter connect to consumer and pro gear. Replaceable earpads extend the life of the headphones when foam eventually compresses.
