Known as the global ambassador of drumming, Dom Famularo was one of the world's most influential and beloved drummers, teachers, and motivators. A SABIAN artist since 1985, Dom was synonymous with the company, sharing our passion for art, our dedication to craftsmanship, and our family values. With this in mind, we are thrilled to honor our longtime friend and partner with the new 20-inch HHX Dominator China cymbal.

Dom played his China cymbals by striking the rim on both sides in succession, to the point where he effectively removed the tension from the lips of his HHX China cymbals, giving them a distinctive wavy appearance. By applying a special turning process to the top of the Dominator, SABIAN's artisans were able to replicate this effect, which, combined with a raw bell and HHX hammering, results in a freer, more aggressive instrument that opens up quickly for a fast, dark attack.
