A drum kit designed for performance
Every detail of the Alesis Strata Core has been designed to provide a responsive and natural experience for intermediate and advanced drummers. The fully mesh Strata heads feature adjustable tension, the 360-degree ARC cymbals move and respond like acoustic cymbals, and the active magnetic hi-hat ensures exceptional precision and accuracy.

Drums
A dual-zone snare drum with independent sounds triggered by the head, rim click, and rimshot is complemented by dual-zone toms (8”/8”/10”) and an 8” kick drum, offering a generous playing surface suitable for all types of single and double kick pedals. All mesh heads have adjustable tension, allowing you to fine-tune rebound and expressiveness to your preference. Unwanted vibration hotspots on the heads are eliminated thanks to our unique patented anti-hotspot sensor.

ARC Cymbals
Strata Core ARC cymbals are অত্যremely sensitive and feature a beautifully lathed surface. The three cymbals—a 14” ride and two 12” crashes—are triple-zone, with different sounds triggered from the bell, bow, and edge. Their 360-degree responsiveness allows you to play anywhere on the cymbal. They are mounted on standard acoustic stands, enabling natural movement and vibration without restriction. All cymbals include dual-edge sensors (patent pending) and profiles designed for incredible expressiveness without requiring any change in playing technique.

Hi-hat
The 12-inch active magnetic hi-hat is a stand-mounted magnetic system offering excellent playability. Like the cymbals, its 360-degree, triple-zone playing surface is extremely responsive. Magnetic position sensing ensures high-resolution pedal tracking, giving this contactless system unmatched precision. This module can be used with a wide variety of hi-hat stands and playing techniques.

Hardware
The foundation of the Strata Core is a curved steel rack that supports the toms, cymbals, and module. Both sturdy and flexible, it provides a spacious yet compact footprint, allowing you to adjust the kit to your ideal playing position. The ARC hi-hat mounts on any standard hi-hat stand, and the 8-inch kick tower accommodates all single or double pedal setups. Crash and ride cymbals can be mounted on standard acoustic cymbal stands and are not restricted to the rack.

At the core of the Strata Core is a powerful drum module featuring a 7-inch touchscreen and the advanced BFD sound engine running on a multicore processor. With over 25 GB of content, including 75 kits, more than 370 instruments, over 800 articulations, and more than 144,000 samples with adjustable multi-microphone channels, you’ll find the perfect sound for your needs.
Experiment with the “stack” feature to layer articulations and mix microphones individually. Control options include rotary encoders, dedicated volume knobs, and Bluetooth 5.0 streaming. Get creative with a customizable triggering engine compatible with modern Alesis e-kit triggers, MIDI connectivity, and USB storage for sample import.
