The FireBall V is an ultra-small dynamic instrument microphone for harmonicas (both diatonic and chromatic) and beatbox, with the added feature of a volume control knob. Its cardioid pickup pattern gives isolation and feedback control, and its VLM™ diaphragm gives natural sound reproduction with an exceptional transient response.
The FireBall V has a wide frequency response of 50 Hz to 16 kHz, handles sound pressure levels in excess of 140 dB without distortion and is lightweight, compact, and comfortable to hold. It has a precision cast zinc alloy body, steel mesh grille, durable black E-coat finish, laser-etched model and serial number and a gold-plated XLR connector, and comes with a DCLIP snap-on clip and a P1 carrying pouch.
Because the FireBall V is a low impedance microphone, a quality, low-high impedance transformer (T50K) is required when using it with a guitar amplifier.
