This is based on the Neve 1058 channelstrip style Preamp/EQ module from around 1968, which was a predecessor of what later became the famous 1073, and was still a germanium transistor based design... with Carnhill inductors, input and output transformers.

These modules have a big punchy sound with lots of fat lowend, great for tracking drums & guitar
