TECH 21 is a high-quality effects pedal brand that develops amp simulators and preamps, such as the SansAmp.


This model is the latest bass preamp/DI pedal that adds preset functions, IR, MIDI, and other expandability to the SansAmp Bass Driver, a staple preamp for all bassists.



Basic sound shaping is done with DRIVE, 3-band EQ, PRESENCE, COMP, and BLEND.



Pressing the tuner button activates RED ZONE control, allowing you to adjust preamp level, filter, mid-frequency, Q, ambience, compression ratio, chorus, etc.



This allows for a multi-faceted approach with a single unit, including filter, chorus, and vibrato.



It features a performance mode that allows you to quickly recall three presets and a studio mode that can save up to 128 custom presets.

The ability to switch between modes depending on the situation, such as live performances or recording, is also a welcome feature.



Furthermore, the dedicated MIDI-compatible user interface allows for more detailed editing of parameters such as amp, effects, EQ, and IR.

It also supports blending multiple IRs and uploading external IRs.



Equipped with a tuner function, effects loop, and XLR output, it can be used in a wide range of situations, including connecting to an amp, direct output to a PA system, input to a power amp, and direct recording to a PC.
