If you love the complex, dark and buttery tones of the Foundry Reserve crashes but wish they were a medium weight with more cut then this is it.
This prototype is 1725g versus a typical FR 19” crash being around 1460g
It has the sound character with a short to medium sustain and more bite. It also has a pronounced bell and with the heavier weight can be used as a small ride / crash.
It’s unique for sure.
Key differences to a normal FR crash:
- medium weight
- larger bell
- unlathed underneath
The top has the same lathing and hammering.
