Up for sale is a Latin Percussion LP Giovanni Galaxy Quinto (11" head) in classic Natural North American Ash with original gold-tone hardware.
The Giovanni Galaxy series is widely considered LP’s flagship wood conga line. Built with 3-ply North American Ash, this drum delivers incredible projection, warm resonance, and crisp, cutting slaps that easily punch through a mix.
Condition Details (Graded Good):
This quinto is a solid player’s drum that sounds fantastic and functions 100% as it should, but shows standard cosmetic wear from real-world use:
Shell: 100% structurally sound with no cracks, splits, or structural flaws. The natural grain looks great, but there are light surface scuffs, small dings, and finish wear typical of a played instrument.
Hardware: The gold-tone hardware is fully functional and tunes smoothly. Shows standard gold-plating tarnish, pitting, and oxidation expected on used LP gold hardware.
Head: Natural raw skin head shows cosmetic wear and discoloration from play, but holds tension evenly, sounds great, and has plenty of playing life remaining.
Bearing Edge: Smooth and intact with no structural damage.
