Genuine pair of Paiste Alpha 14" Sound Edge hi-hats - top and bottom, matched pair.
The Sound Edge bottom has Paiste's signature crimped/rippled edge, which stops the two cymbals air-locking and gives that tight, cutting "chick" the design is known for.
DATING: Both cymbals are ink-stamped MADE IN WEST GERMANY beneath the Paiste logo - a marking dropped after German reunification in 1990, which places these among the earliest Alpha production. Stamped Paiste serial numbers: top 216187, bottom 216236.
CONDITION: Used, in good playing order. No cracks, no keyholing, no flat spots. Normal stick marks and playing wear consistent with age. Please see all photos - they form part of the description.
