Selling my Torso Electronics S-4 Sculpting Sampler as it simply doesn’t fit my personal workflow. It’s an incredible piece of gear with a unique approach to sampling, granular processing and sound design, but after spending the last three weeks with it, I’ve decided it’s not the right fit for the way I produce music.

The unit is in excellent, near-new condition and has only been used in my smoke-free, dust-free home studio. It has never left the studio and has been looked after from day one.

The S-4 is running the latest firmware, so it’s fully up to date with all of the newest features and improvements.

I’m also including approximately £60 worth of professionally made sound packs, which are already installed on the unit and ready to use. These provide a great selection of sounds and textures, adding even more creative possibilities straight out of the box.

The S-4 is a four-track sculpting sampler that combines tape-style recording, granular processing, resonator filtering, modulation and performance controls into a powerful creative instrument. It’s capable of producing everything from subtle textures to completely transformed sounds, making it equally at home in the studio or for live performance.

I’m only selling because I prefer a more traditional hardware workflow, so rather than have it sitting unused I’d rather it went to someone who’ll get the most out of it.
