This is a professional studio controller from Drawmer. It’s a true dual two-pot stereo monitor controller.
It’s an active box between your interface/DAW and your monitors: because it’s active, it doesn’t colour the sound at all -- so what you hear is genuinely what you recorded. (passive controllers (like the traditional Big Knob) are just resistors in the signal path, so you can get some loss of clarity, impedance mismatches, and volume imbalance between channels. A high-quality active controller like this avoids those problems).
As well as the volume knob, it has lots of checking tools: mono sum, phase reverse, and cutting the left or right speaker individually. These things can help catch problems in a mix (dodgy panning, phase cancellation, one speaker dominating)…and a lot of other monitor controllers leave those out.
It's got 4 inputs, 3 sets of speaker outs plus a sub out, 2 headphone amps, talkback. It’s also well-built, with a solid steel chassis.
In great condition. NOTE: some of the photos show a button missing. These photos were taken a few weeks ago. I’ve since sourced a replacement from Drawmer directly, and fitted it (you can see this on the final photo). All of the buttons are present now.
These tend to go for £600+ new.
