About the QSC AD-C6T-WH

The QSC AD-C6T-WH is a 6.5 inch two way ceiling loudspeaker from the AcousticDesign Series, supplied as a matched pair in white (RAL 9010). Each unit combines a 165 mm weather treated paper cone woofer with a 19 mm aluminium dome tweeter mounted on a DMT waveguide, giving an effective frequency range of 65 Hz to 20 kHz, 88 dB sensitivity and a maximum SPL of 106 dB continuous / 112 dB peak.

DMT (Directivity Matched Transition) matches the tweeter waveguide to the natural conical behaviour of the woofer at crossover, producing a consistent 135° conical coverage pattern and clean off axis response. Because the whole AcousticDesign family shares tonal characteristics across ceiling, surface and pendant models, these blend seamlessly into mixed installations.

A low loss, low saturation 60 watt transformer keeps response accurate on distributed lines. Tap selection is via a rotary switch under the grille: 7.5 W, 15 W, 30 W and 60 W on 70 V, or 15 W, 30 W and 60 W on 100 V, plus a 16 ohm bypass for direct low impedance drive. Connection is via a locking 4 pole Euroblock with parallel output, accepting up to four 18 AWG pairs, and the conduit cover plate lifts off with a single captive screw for pre install wiring.

Construction is a UV stabilised ABS baffle on a powder coated steel back can with a snap fit magnetic steel grille and a blemish free removable QSC logo for installs where branding is not permitted. IP-34 rated and specified for indoor use across a -20 to 50 °C operating range. Installation uses the 3x double stepped, long travel dog ear blind mount system, capturing 0 to 2.25 inches of ceiling thickness, with C-ring and tile rails included.

Certified to UL1480 and UL2043 for use in air handling plenums, NFPA90 and NFPA70 compliant, EN54-24 Type A, with a UL1876 registered transformer and a UL94-V0 / 5VB rated baffle. EASE, CF2, CAD and BIM data are published by QSC for system design.
