This 1992 Gibson Les Paul Standard falls firmly into the latter category, carrying all the character, mojo and road-earned appeal you’d hope to find in a genuine early-‘90s Les Paul finished in the timeless Heritage Cherry Sunburst.

Delivering the rich sustain, powerful midrange and unmistakable voice that have made the Les Paul a cornerstone of rock, blues and beyond. The guitar remains in good played condition, with only early signs of fret wear in the lower positions and minimal tarnishing to the hardware.

Its history is written across the instrument in all the right ways. The headstock face displays extensive lacquer checking, giving it a naturally aged appearance that many players actively seek out. There is some finish blemishing around the strap button areas and where the switch washer has previously been removed, along with a few small impressions around the body from use. A non-original Schaller bridge has been fitted and the neck humbucker is a replacement of unknown origin.
