About This Model

The Tascam DR-60D MKII is a 4-track field recorder and mixer designed for location sound and DSLR filmmaking workflows. It features two combo XLR/TRS inputs with switchable 24V/48V phantom power, a 3.5mm stereo input for channels 3 and 4, and a dedicated camera input and camera output - letting you feed clean audio directly to your video camera while monitoring and recording simultaneously. The HDDA mic preamps deliver up to 64dB of gain with a 120dB equivalent input noise rating. Recording is available in WAV/BWF format at up to 96kHz/24-bit, and a built-in mixer provides per-channel level, pan, limiter, and high-pass filtering at 40, 80, or 120Hz. Safety track modes record a second pair of tracks 6-12dB lower to guard against clipping on unpredictable sources, and a slate tone generator aids sync in post-production.
