Fender Pro Junior IV – Upgraded Custom 1x12 Combo with Alessandro GA-SC64 Speaker.
For sale is my Fender Pro Junior IV, housed in a beautiful custom-built 1x12 cabinet made to the dimensions of a vintage Fender Tweed Deluxe by respected cabinet builder Mark Phillips.
I loved the Pro Junior platform but always felt the stock 10” speaker and small cabinet left it sounding a little boxy. This setup transformed the amp into an outstanding gigging combo, adding significantly more depth, fullness and headroom while retaining everything that makes the Pro Junior so great.
Specifications
- Fender Pro Junior IV chassis

Sound
The larger cabinet (£330) and 12” Alessandro speaker (£145) make a huge difference. Compared with a stock Pro Junior, this amp:
- Sounds fuller and more three-dimensional
- Has increased clean headroom
- Stays cleaner for longer
- Avoids the compressed, mushy character the stock 10” speaker can develop when pushed
- Delivers a wonderful blend of Fender Deluxe Reverb clarity and Tweed Deluxe warmth and richness
This has been an incredibly reliable amp and has never let me down at rehearsals or gigs. It’s genuinely one of the best Pro Junior-based setups I’ve owned.
Very good overall condition and fully working. Only being sold because I’m downsizing and simply don’t need as much gear these days.
If you’re looking at buying a Fender Pro Junior, this is essentially a Pro Junior with all the upgrades many owners wish Fender had done from the factory.
