Fender Rhodes MK1-A 1972
A very early MK1-A (pre-dating the MK1)
Recent service by Ryan at FendrRhodes.co.uk including
- New hammer tips
- Centre damper pin
- Replacement tine
- Crossbar set
- Complete strip-down and reassemble
- Full service cost £650
The sustain pedal and crossbars aren't original (and not pictured here but int he case)
The case is worn from usage but is functional. One hinge is broken but the lid closes perfectly well
Various knocks and age related patina included one cracked/repaired key on the bass side
Having been fully serviced the action is exactly where it should be, and if you've never played a freshly set up Rhodes then you're in for a treat. It sounds killer through a good amp and can be seen working before final purchase
Due to the weight this is collection only from Brighton. I'm happy to work with your own courier on a collection date
