2022 – 100-Watt Valve Head

We’re pleased to offer this 2022 Marshall 1959HW, Marshall’s handwired reissue of the legendary 100-watt Plexi Super Lead. Built in the UK and wired entirely by hand, the 1959HW faithfully recreates the feel, response, and raw authority of the original late-’60s Super Leads that defined rock guitar tone.

This amp delivers massive clean headroom, explosive punch, and that unmistakable Plexi grind when driven hard. The dual-channel layout (High Treble & Normal) allows for traditional channel-jumping, unlocking thicker midrange textures and greater tonal control. Like the originals, it responds exceptionally well to picking dynamics and guitar volume adjustments.

Handwired on a traditional turret board, the 1959HW uses premium components throughout and this is the era that was still using the full fat Dagnall transformers. Loud, open, and harmonically rich, this is classic Marshall done properly.

Condition is excellent, with only very light cosmetic wear consistent with careful use. Fully functional and sounding exactly as it should.
