JHS SD-1 Pro-Rhythm Drum Synth - Vintage 1970s Drum Synthesizer Pad

Very rare and delightfully quirky self-contained drum synthesizer pad from the late 1970s - basically working but in need of some restoration. As far as I can tell it is all working properly, though it could potentially benefit from a general servicing (recapping etc) to sound its best. Two of the switches are damaged - the levers that actuate the switches have been snapped off and lost, though the switches themselves do still work and can still be operated with a flat-head screwdriver or similar. The playing surface is in poor condition with some obvious damage and general degradation but it is still perfectly functional and should not be difficult to replace. There is a dent in the chassis on the side - this could easily be smoothed out with the correct tools and some patience, though at the moment it is actually helpful - the bolts which hold the bottom cover on are missing so the dent is serving quite nicely to pinch the back cover in place securely. The rubber feet are missing from underneath - again these should be simple enough to replace. Inside, the circuit appears unmolested, though the 9V battery snap has been replaced with a modern moulded plastic one. The transducer for detecting percussion hits - actually a small speaker driver - is in good condition. The dust covers to go around the missing switch levers are loose inside the chassis. There is also general wear and tear as you would expect for an item of this age.
As far as I can tell that is it - this could be a relatively straightforward and highly rewarding restoration project for someone, or else it can be immediately put to use as-is, using a tool to operate the damaged switches. It sounds amazing and is quite unique.
