The 1968 Drip Edge Deluxe reverb was a transition piece for fender post CBS where the famed AB763 circuit and internals stayed exactly the same as the pre CBS black face deluxe models but the front panel changed from black to silver. Around 1969 they changed the internal circuit and the amp sound changed.
So if you fancy picking up a blackface deluxe reverb AB763 model without the crazy price tag then this is the place to do it. Sounds exactly as the classic amp should.
Recently serviced by sweet amps in east London with the speaker upgraded.
