Bechstein Model III 1887 Semi-Concert Grand Piano - Black

For sale is my beloved Bechstein Model III Grand Piano - selling because of a move that no longer afforded me the space to keep it. The piano is old, but in wonderful playing and working condition.

I’m a music producer, and have recorded this piano consistently for the past few years, and it sounds wonderful. As a semi-concert grand, the bass is deep and rich, and the piano has Bechstein’s trademark bell-like, singing tenor. The treble is slightly weaker, as is common for pianos of this age, but still fully working, and should someone wish to service this instrument, they would be hard pushed to find any new piano that sounds as magical and musical as this.

For anyone who knows about Bechstein pianos, you’ll know that this model is coveted, and for good reason. It’s a large piano, with a famously large, deep and singing tone. 

Easily the most heartbreaking sale for me, as it has written years worth of music, and featured on most of the recordings I’ve made over the last 8 years. I’m keen it goes to someone who will love and use it, so please do feel free to message me with any questions.

The buyer will be responsible for organising moving the piano, and it is available for collection from Central London, and is conveniently situated on the ground floor.
