Gorgeous 1982 'Norlin Era' Silverburst Gibson Les Paul Custom in Very Good Condition!

Yet another jaw-dropping Les Paul has joined our huge range in-store, Specifically this beauty is a Norlin-era 1982 Les Paul Custom Silverburst! Most famously used by Adam Jones of Tool, this '82 Custom features its original neck pickup which at the time would have been the Tim Shaw PAF Humbucker (7.27k), but at some point in its life, it has had the bridge pickup swapped to an 80s Seymour Duncan JB-J (15.92k) (unfortunately the original pick-up is NOT included). While not the original set these pickups still sound amazing together and are a great pairing, especially when used together in the middle position. Other than that & the swapped Schaller locking strap buttons, this Silver gem is all original! with original pots dating to 1979, original hardware & plastics, & even the iconic Gibson Speed Winder Tuners!

This beautiful 10.7lb Les Paul is in very good condition for its ages and has been well cared for by the previous owner. While some parts have been swapped, the tailpiece has oxidized slightly, & the collection of small dings is present, This is still one of the better examples currently on the market, with a nitro finish that has only slightly yellowed, a gorgeous tone & resonance to it, & with plenty of life still in the frets this would make a great collection piece as well as a workhorse touring instrument!

As is standard practice with any new arrival in store, this very cool '82 Les Paul Custom has been through the trusted hands of our team in our onsite workshop to ensure it is in tip-top shape for its new home and owner!
