Here for sale 2000s Carl Martin Hot Drive N Boost mkII guitar pedal. Great sounding fat overdrive and boost. It uses AC voltage so needs to be plugged into the power socket 230V. It's in good condition and comes as pictured. The Hot Drive 'n Boost MKII is similar to the Carl Martin Hot Drive'n Boost but voiced with an extended frequency range one octave lower than the regular HDB. The result is more bottom end, sustain and harmonics. The unit has been favorably compared to an "overdriven 70’s British" sound, but cleans up nicely when you back off on your guitar’s volume control. The unit also features a "clean out" for players who wish to split their signal (Wet/Dry) into two amps. The "boost" feature allows you to get that extra "kick" (up to 22db) for solos to really stand out. Features a built-in regulated power supply.
