Crafted with precision, the Flattley Wah features a 100K potentiometer designed to Paul Flattley’s exacting specifications, ensuring precision and control. It also includes a signature blue LED light plate, providing on stage visibility of the pedal's status.

The Flattley Platinum Range pedals go through a meticulous crafting process in the dedicated Flattley paint shop. Each pedal begins with the bare aluminium enclosure, which is abraded to create a textured surface before being coated with an etch primer. This primer serves a dual purpose, preventing corrosion and ensuring a strong bond with the paint, resulting in a durable finish.

Following this, multiple coats of base coat primer are expertly applied, with each coat lightly abraded to eliminate any imperfections. The base colour is layered until it reaches a consistent, rich, and smooth depth. To add the distinctive Flattley sparkle, metallic holographic chrome flake is introduced with a clear inter coat.

The enclosure is now prepared for the hydro dipping process, where water activated film is used to apply the graphics. After rinsing off the residual PVA film, the enclosure is allowed to dry naturally.

Next comes the lacquer process, with each Flattley Platinum pedal receiving a minimum of three coats, each wet sanded between applications. Once the lacquer has hardened, it undergoes hand polishing using three different grades of polishing compounds, and a final high gloss finish is achieved with a wool finishing pad. This meticulous process results in the smooth, deep lustrous finish that defines all Flattley guitar and bass effects pedals.

Every pedal is crafted by hand, meticulously wired, and customised to perfection in the UK, using only the finest components. Flattley takes great pride in delivering outstanding products at every stage of production.
