DESCRIPTION

The Crazy Diamond effects pedal, part of Flattley's Silver Range, boasts a unique univibe phaser style, utilising four optically coupled stages to create a dynamic comb filter response with plenty of versatility. This design allows for full control over the optical modulation source's speed, depth, and static conditions, as well as feedback around the phase shift network, resulting in a more resonant comb filter response.

One standout feature of the Crazy Diamond is the addition of a purple halo light ring that diffuses the light during live performances, preventing the guitarist from being blinded by standard LEDs, especially during critical moments like solos. This thoughtful addition significantly improves visibility, making it easy to locate the pedal on a darkened stage.

Another practical enhancement is the inclusion of a large aluminium foot topper. This feature provides a more spacious and comfortable surface for the user to operate the pedal, ensuring smooth and precise switching during fast paced live performances.

Every pedal in the Silver Range is carefully hand processed in Flattley's paint shop. The process begins with an etch primer, creating a robust bond with the aluminium enclosure and offering protection against corrosion. Multiple coats of base coat primer and the silver base coat colour are meticulously applied and sealed with layers of lacquer.

The aesthetic aspect is not overlooked either. Once the lacquer hardens, it is hand polished to achieve a smooth and deep lustre finish. The eye catching graphics, exclusively designed in house by graphic artist Phoebe Flattley, are incorporated through UV direct printing in Flattley's dedicated printing shop.
