Up for sale is my Erica Synths Techno System, a complete Eurorack instrument for techno, industrial, EBM and DnB, in excellent used condition. I'm focusing on building a Eurorack case/setup from separate modules so sadly this needs to go. This is what got me started with Eurorack. It's a fabulous intro. This is a ready-to-play drum and bass machine. Every drum voice is already wired to the sequencer inside the case which significantly reduces patching clutter / spaghetti - great for beginners.

What's in the rack

The drums:

• Bass Drum. A punchy, driven kick with far more control than a classic drum machine, plus CV over pitch and decay.
• Snare Drum. 909-flavoured, with CV control and accents for expressive, rolling patterns.
• Toms. Low, mid and high toms, each with its own pitch, decay and output.
• Clap. The classic drum-machine clap, with accent and CV-controlled tuning.
• Hi-Hats D. Sampled hats run through an analogue AS3330 VCA. Includes an open-hat loop mode that creates a stuttering, delay-like effect.
• Cymbals. Ten sets of crash and ride samples with tune and separate decay controls.
• Sample Drum. A dual-channel SD-card sample player with six CV inputs. Use it to load your own one-shots and loops, slice them and save performance presets.

The bass:

• Bassline. A fully analogue voice for acid lines and leads. It has an AS3340 VCO, a filter based on Erica's Acidbox, a transistor sub-oscillator and BBD-based detune for a thick, chorused tone.

The brain:

• Drum Sequencer. The heart of the system. It has 16 trigger tracks, 12 accent outputs, a CV/gate track for the Bassline, two LFOs and MIDI sync for locking to your DAW or other gear.
• Modulator. Two syncable LFOs with morphing waveshapes and phase-offset outputs, for keeping patterns moving.

FX and mixing:

• Dual Drive. Two independent distortion channels, each with three overdrive flavours.
• Dual FX. Two FV-1 effects engines with eight drum-tailored programs each, two CV-controllable parameters per effect, and an analogue wet/dry mix.
• Drum Mixer and Mixer Lite. Vactrol-based compression for glue and punch.
• Stereo Mixer. Four stereo channels with built-in limiters.
• Link. Converts Eurorack levels to line level on 1/4" jacks, so you can plug straight into a mixer, interface or PA.

Condition
This system and its manuals are all in excellent condition. A few minor marks on the outside of the case but I only noticed them when lighting it from all angles with a bright light, otherwise they're basically not there - see photos. Every module has been tested and works perfectly. Smoke-free home and never gigged.

Why buy this one
Buying these modules separately, plus a case and power, would cost a lot more. Even then it would still need all the internal wiring to be done. This is a curated, ready-to-use instrument in great shape, at a fraction of the new price.
